Multi-Attribute Selection Procedures Based on Regret and Rejoice for the Decision-Maker

Feelings influence human beings’ decision-making; therefore, incorporation of feeling factors in decision-making is very important. Regret and rejoice are important emotional feelings that can have a great impact on if they considered together. While regret has received most the attention related research, been less even though it greatly people’s preferences decision-making. Furthermore, systematically incorporating multi-criteria (MCDM) modeling frameworks for little research attention. In this paper, we introduce new multi-attribute selection procedure incorporates both to select best choice. We utilize positional advantage operator concept develop mathematical equations, prove them. The proposed MCDM these two offers decision-maker flexibility trade off some benefits order gain state psychological satisfaction. More specifically, presented mathematically enable determine values rejoice, then make decision which value higher than value. To test performance procedure, apply three numerical examples previous works. results matched with those obtained by other methods such as model, VIKOR, PROMETHEE I, II, thereby proving efficacy procedure.
